EZ Consulting was engaged by shareholders of an Australian technology company with significant government contracts to develop a business plan and provide financial management services to assist the company trade out of a precarious financial situation. EZ Consulting also provided executive coaching to the company’s CEO.
A number of financial management practices to more closely align the company’s revenues with its expenses were introduced and coupled with strong cashflow management, the company was successful in turning around its trading performance. In the second year of EZ Consulting’s involvement, the company had its most profitable year to date.
The role involved working closely with the company’s CEO and major shareholders to assist them in developing a better understanding of performance drivers and implementing rigorous business practices to ensure growth initiatives didn’t undermine core business.
