EZ Consulting prepared an application to the AusIndustry competitive Commercial Ready Program (now called Accelerating Commercialisation) and was successful in obtaining a grant (approx $1m) to progress research and development and commercialisation of a medical device for the management of haemodynamic circulatory state (bloodflows and pressures) and related water- electrolyte balance (waterflows and urine content) for patients in intensive care.
The Navigator technology used mathematical algorithms based on sound physiological principles to develop devices that continuously acquire physiological data from conventional monitors. Information gathered is then used to create a graphical depiction of the patient position and provide continuous decision support on the next therapy with the aim of improving patient outcomes.
